My name is Erin Kanwal, and I am a junior Biology major at Temple University. I serve as a Research Assistant in Dr. Chen's Lab, studying how developing neurons establish synaptic connections using Drosophila as a model system. This experience strengthens my understanding of neurobiology and develops my research skills. Beyond the lab, I work as a Peer Leader for the College of Science and Technology, supporting students in their academic and professional growth. My future goals include pursuing a medical sciences career that integrates clinical practice and research.
