Chen Lab hosted Dr. Alex Kolodkin from Johns Hopkins University for our Biology Departmental Seminar! A pioneer in neural circuit assembly, Dr. Kolodkin’s landmark work on semaphorin–plexin signaling has fundamentally shaped how we understand axon guidance and circuit wiring. His visit sparked many great conversations across the department, and we are grateful for the inspiration and insights he brought to our community. (October 2026)
